Evelyn Lozada’s winter themed ad urges the public to keep their holiday lists clear of fur this year by becoming one of a marvelous list of ladies who would “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur.”
Lozada was a fur wearer until she educated herself on the vicious acts against the poor creatures that are sacrificed for fashion. The reality star hopes to inspire others to do their own research.
“I was definitely one of those people who wore fur years ago,” stated Lozada according to Huffington Post. “I was looking online and I [saw] how these animals are tortured and skinned, and you don’t really realize the hurt and the pain they go through just for fashion. I want to be a voice for them.”
The launch of this Puerto Rican’s PETA ad coincided with her 37th birthday and was debuted amongst aerialists inspired by Cirque Du Soleil who flew from the ceiling to serve drinks to guests like fellow Basketball Wives cast members Shaunie O’Neal,Tasha Marbury, and Suzie Ketchum. It certainly seems like it’s no challenge for Lozada to be fabulous without fur!
