148 Fifth Ave., Brooklyn

Los Pollitos II has been serving authentic margaritas in Park Slope for 10 years, but new boss Jose Paucar recently made them even more delicious. Paucar, whose father owns the restaurant (Los Pollitos I, on Third Ave., and III, on Myrtle Ave., are owned by other relatives), makes his margs with 1800 Silver tequila, fresh lime juice and a splash of orange juice — a smooth yet potent combination. Not to be confused with El Pollitos down the street, Los Pollitos is known for its classic margaritas ($7.50, $6.50 during happy hour) as well as the frozen fruity flavors, which are made with real fruit and —for $8.50 — come in a see-you-tomorrow-size glass.
