The son of legendary salsa musician Willie Colon has been arrested on child pornography charges, prosecutors said.
Patrick Colon, 21, was busted Tuesday at his New Rochelle home after investigators found images of children engaged in sex acts on his computer, the Westchester district attorney’s office said.
Detectives were led to Colon after discovering he had child porn available for download from his computer, prosecutors said.
Colon, who works as an information specialist for the Big Apple‘s tourism board, NYC & Co., was charged with two felony counts and faces up to seven years in prison.
He was arraigned in New Rochelle City Court and released on $2,500 bail. He is due back in court on March 24.
Colon’s 61-year-old father is a Bronx-born trombonist who has worked with musical heavyweights like Celia Cruz, Ruben Blades and Hector Lavoe.
Patrick Colon had yet to retain a lawyer and had no listed phone number.
