10 Accidental Spanish Curse Words

“Spanish is a beautiful language. It’s also a language where you can find yourself accidentally saying the world, dick, a lot.”

Flama producer Joanna Hausmann is back at it and this time around, she’s ranting about accidental Spanish curse words.

As Latinos, “we may all speak the same language,” says Joanna. “But with over 20 different Spanish-speaking countries it makes sense that we’re gonna have different bad words.” Yuuuuup!

In Puerto Rico, la concha means seashell but in other countries? Vagina. And don’t get Joanna started on the many different meanings of straw. It’s insane because a straw, as she says, “is the most boring thing there is on earth.”

What are your favorite Spanish dirty words that have different meanings?
