She has plenty of diamonds, but Jennifer Lopez’s best friend isn’t who you might think. Claiming title of BFF (best friend forever) is actually J.Lo’s boyfriend of just over one year, who the 43-year-old singer says is her best friend.
“He’s fantastic; he’s like my best friend. I can tell him everything, when I’m feeling down, when I’m feeling good,” Lopez told Harper’s Bazaar in an interviewed published in its February issue.” He gives moral support, endless love and support.”
Lopez, who appears on the February 2013 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, didn’t hold much back from her interview with the fashion magazine, discussing everything from her infamous 2000 Grammy Awards dress, to traveling and hitting 40. Here are our favorite highlights from the honest triple threat.
Age is nothing but a number: “When I turned 40, I was like, huh. I accept myself more now. It was much more comforting.” She characterizes her mental age as “16 to 18. That’s when I became the person that I am. Even though I didn’t realize the whole journey I would go on, I still feel all that youthfulness.”
On “that dress”: “I have that at home. The other day, my housekeeper put it on a mannequin in my spa, where I get my hair and makeup done. She sent me a picture. She was like, ‘You like this dress?’ Um, yeah, but I don’t know if I like it out in the house!”
Keeping things simple: “I like the whole idea of traveling, of looking good, and doing it well. I make it as simple and as beautiful as I can because my life is kind of big.
