Although she has a new boyfriend, Jennifer Lopez is clearly still sensitive about her split from husband Marc Anthony.
During a performance at the Mohegan Sun‘s 15 anniversary celebration on Saturday, the actress-singer, 42, broke down in tears and fled the stage following an acoustic rendition of “If You Had My Love.”
But before, Lopez — who has been dating hunk Bradley Cooper — explained the track to the sold-out crowd as “the first song I wrote about love.”
Fighting back the water works, she added, “What is love? As the last song I wrote about love … a lot has changed since then.”
As Lopez sang, pairs of dancers appeared in spotlights around her — each portraying the “American Idol” judge and one of her former lovers, including Diddy, Cris Judd, Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony.
“At the end of the song she started sobbing and had to take a few moments to keep it together,” an eyewitness told RadarOnline.
“She held it together for one song but then ran offstage crying. “She only sang a few more songs and she was obviously out of it. Everyone was so sad for her. It was really dramatic.”
Lopez and Anthony announced their split in July after seven years of marriage. They have 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme. [Daily News]
