Kat Von D Tattoos ‘X Factor’ Judge Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato scored a new piece of art from a fellow Latina over the weekend.

Cuban-American gossip blogger Perez Hilton is reporting that the 20-year-old “X Factor” judge was tattooed by former reality television personality Kat Von D over the weekend. On Sunday, Lovato proudly showed off her new ink on Twitter, a flock of birds on her right forearm with the word “faith.”

“Thank you so much @thekatvond for my new ink!!” tweeted Lovato. “I think it’s beautiful and I love it!!”

“So lovely tattooing the beautiful, @ddlovato today! Thank you, Demi!” responded Von D, whose real name is Katherine von Dranchenberg.

Despite her excitement, it looks like the part Mexican songstress did not take her own advice.

In September, Us Weekly stated that during an appearance on “LIVE! With Kelly and Michael,” Lovato admitted she was beginning to regret getting 12 tattoos before turning 20-years-old. She called a drawing of her friend’s lip on the inside of her left forearm a “spur of the moment, stupid decision.”

The singer has even thought about getting her tattoos removed permanently, explaining “I’ve thought about it before because, you know, when I get older I don’t know if I want to have ‘rock and roll’ on my middle finger.” However, she also added, “But I’m young and I can rock it now. When I get older, I can worry about it later.”

In the case of the Mexico-born Argentine starlet behind “La Ink,” it looks like the session may have occurred before she traveled with Canadian electronic DJ Deadmau5, also known as Joel Zimmerman.

“Piano time, then tattoo time, then packing for the UK w @deadmau5 time! Happy Sunday” Von D tweeted before thanking Lovato.

Earlier this month, Von D and Zimmerman announced their breakup via Twitter, but since appearing together on the new issue of body art magazine Inked, Hilton announced the tattooed twosome may be reconciling.

The duo have not confirmed or denied the rumors. [Fox]
