She may be in the news these days largely for her political activism with her non-profit voter advocacy group, Voto Latino, but Rosario Dawson is diving right back into acting with the announcement that she has just signed on to star in and executive produce a new film, “Parts Per Billion.”
Dawson will play one of the leads in the film alongside Josh Harnett (“Black Hawk Down”) Frank Langella (“Robot and Frank”) and Gena Rowlands (“Yellow”), reports The Wrap. Dawson will also be executive producing the film, which will feature the story of three couples and their relationships as they deal with a catastrophic event.
No release date for the film has yet been announced.
It’s just the latest in a series of film projects for the actress, who is of Puerto Rican and Cuban heritage. In September, the 33-year-old confirmed that she will be reprising her role in the sequel to the Robert Rodriguez-directed 2005 hit, “Sin City.” by Nina Terrero
